Mentions the parallel careers of Moore and Hepworth at Leeds School of Art and the Royal College of Art in the 1920s. Compares briefly their carving style, and records artistic circle in Hampstead in the 1930s. In the 1930s the close formal and stylistic similarities between the work of Moore and Hepworth continued.
