Description: Three Piece Sculpture: Vertebrae, 1968-1969 bronze bought by Seafirst Bank in 1968 was sold on 1 July 1986 to J.M.B. Property Management Corporation, and through a Boston dealer has now been bought by an anonymous Japanese buyer. Regrets are expressed at the loss of the work due to be shipped to Japan.

Description: Seafirst Bank, J.M.B. Realty and 1001 Fourth Avenue Associates announced that Three Piece Sculpture: Vertebrae, 1968-1969 bronze had been purchased back from its new owner and donated to the Seattle Art Museum. The work will remain in the plaza at 1001 Fourth Avenue, the former Seafirst Building. AP and UPI news reports on this appeared in 20 other U.S.A. newspapers on 9 October 1986.
