Ann GARROULD reads the questions and Moore responds on the visual world, inspiration, the value of art, the creative process, and Gaudier-Brzeska. This is followed by informal discussions with Ann Garrould and David MITCHINSON seeking statements on size, titles of art works, Mirror Knife Edge, 1977 bronze for Washington, working with wood, animal and human forms, Guggenheim Upright Figure, 1956-1960 elm wood, Bird Basket, 1939 lignum vitae and string, lead figures. Side two consists of informal interview/discussion with visitors to Moore's studio discussing Leeds, Royal College of Art, the work of the Henry Moore Foundation, Cézanne, etc.

Description: The 13-ton sculpture Three Forms Vertebrae, 1978-1979 bronze, is seen in production at the Morris Singer Foundry in Basingstoke, and journeying by road, sea and rail to Texas. It is assembled and polished in Dallas before being sited in the Plaza under the supervision of Moore and I.M. Pei. The film opens with the dedication and brief speech by Moore; and includes film of Much Hadham estate and Moore interviewed in his studios on Materials, inspiration from nature, the Elephant Skull, drawing and scale. There are also brief views of the four bronzes at Glenkiln and of Knife Edge Two Piece, 1962-1965 bronze in London.
