Elephant Skull/Original etchings by/Henry Moore/Gérald Cramer, Geneva/1970

Published as a catalogue in deluxe and standard editions at the time of publication of the Henry Moore: Elephant Skull CGM 109-146, with an introduction in English by Alistair Grant; 28 reproductions in black and white of Elephant Skull etchings, CGM 114-141, with their captions given by the artist; and a list of the works shown at the exhibition Elephant Skull: Original Etchings by Henry Moore, which opened at Galerie Gérald Cramer in December 1970. The deluxe edition contains the etching CGM 147.

270 x 200mm: 80 unnumbered pages in 40 sheets perfect bound, contained in a thin card cover with an illustration of the elephant skull on the front, a detail of CGM 126 and the publisher's imprint on the back, within an acetate dust jacket with the artist's name printed in white on the front. The deluxe edition has CGM 147, printed on Japon ancien, tipped in between pp.[2] and [3].

The deluxe edition with the copy number printed on p.[79], comprises:

150 copies numbered 1 to 150 with CGM 147 numbered 1/150 to 150/150 and signed in pencil by the artist.

The standard edition of 2500 copies is unnumbered and unsigned and was later reprinted for exhibitions at the Pinakothek, Munich; Marlborough Fine Art, London and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
