Elephant Skull/Original etchings by/Henry Moore/Gérald Cramer, Geneva/1970

Published as an album in deluxe and standard editions with a text in English by Henry J. Seldis illustrated with four small etchings CGM 110-113, none of which is signed. The standard edition contains twenty-eight etchings CGM 114-141. The deluxe edition contains five additional etchings CGM 142-146. CGM 109 is printed on the cover of both editions.

505 x 380mm: 20 unnumbered pages in 5 leaves and twenty-eight etchings on Rives with a watermark designed by the artist, each in a leaf of Rives bearing titles given by the artist and plate numbers, unbound within thin card covered with vellum with CGM 109 on the front, spine and back.

The deluxe edition has an additional folder of vellum containing 4 unnumbered pages in 1 leaf and five etchings on Rives with a watermark designed by the artist, each in a leaf of Rives bearing the plate letter.

All are contained in a buff linen-covered box with the artist's name blocked in brown on the front and the title on the spine.

The edition of 115 copies, signed in pen and ink by the artist on p.[7], comprises:

20 copies of the deluxe edition numbered 1 to 15 and I to V with CGM 114 to 141 numbered 1/100 to 15/100 and I/XV to V/XV and CGM 142 to 146 numbered 1/15 to 15/15 and I/V to V/V

95 copies of the standard edition numbered 16 to 100 and VI to XV with CGM 114 to 141 numbered 16/100 to 100/100 and VI/XV to XV/XV

All the etchings are signed in pencil by the artist and marked with their plate number or letter.

CGM 109-146 were printed by Atelier Lacourière et Frélaut, Paris 1969-70.
