More InformationThe drawing on the recto was probably done as one of the 'Monthly Compositions' required by tutors at the Royal College of Art (see also HMF 27a and HMF 28). The sketch of the mother playing with her child (verso l.c.) is very similar to that on verso of HMF 30.
