In developing this section of our website, we have recently begun photographing a selection of our sculptures in high quality in the round, beginning with those housed in the Bourne Maquette Studio, one of Moore's many work areas at Perry Green. Moore used this studio to make miniature sculptures, many of which went on to be enlarged, some to monumental scale. He preferred to 'work out' ideas in the form of these maquettes, which he could hold in his hand, and look at from every point of view.
