Description: Henry Moore is seen descending stairs and walking on to Underground platform amid sleepers. Commentary introduces the artist and his interest in Reclining Figures in strange vault-like atmosphere. Moore makes notes, and is seen in his studio working on a larger drawing, and describing the process of using wax crayon and his choice of colours. A voice describes the very rhythm of sleep...deep shadows...uneasy sleep...unnatural sleep...an oasis of tranquility in the heart of a nightmare"."
