More InformationExhibition also at Washington University Gallery of Art 30 Aug-6 Dec 2002. H.W. Janson was curator of the University's art collection from 1944 to 1948. There were no works by Henry Moore in the exhibition, but Sabine Eckmann mentioned Henry Moore as an artist whose works were purchased, and there is an installation photograph from the Jane Wade Papers (See 0010198) of Henry Moore's Buchholz Gallery exhibition (Probably 0008136 1951). H.W. Janson's 1981 speech mentions with a photograph Henry Moore's ITReclining Figures, 1933 reinforced concrete.
